Interested in the heraldry or genealogy of a Ballard family in Britain? Then look no further. I have spent more than 25 years researching my own family and many of the other UK Ballard lines. I hope that you find what you're looking for in the pages that follow but if you don't then drop me a line and I'll see what I can do. Not all of my material is available here, either because it is not yet loaded or because it hasn't been transcribed into electronic form yet.

I started tracing my own family tree and gradually became interested in the early Ballard material especially relating to Gregory Ballard. Through this I came to realise just how useful Heraldry could be in giving clues or confirmation about family connections etc. and hence my interest in that area too.

The links below are self explanatory and hopefully provide a little structure to my growing collection of Ballard material. Some pages, especially pedigree charts and images, are pretty large and may take some time to download. Hopefully you will forgive this when you see the content.

I support my living relatives' right to privacy!

In accordance with the EU regulations on transmission of personal data across national boundaries and because of legitimate concerns around identity theft and individual privacy I have protected the details relating to living individuals. I also strive to fully comply with the NGS Standards published in 2000.

If you are interested in Ballard Genealogy then you should visit Adrian Ballard's excellent Ballard Family History site and the join the excellent Forum which Adrian administers. It is fast becoming the No 1 resource for Ballard researchers and I can often be found there!
